CalDailyPrivacy Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
The short version. Your diary, weight log and profile stay on your iPhone. We never sell your data and we show no ads. A few things leave your device so the app can work: food searches, barcodes, meal photos you choose to analyze, and subscription details handled by Apple and RevenueCat.
Who we are
CalDaily ("we", "us") is a calorie, macro and weight tracking app for iPhone. For any privacy question, write to contact@theotis.app.
Information that stays on your device
CalDaily has no user accounts. The following is stored only on your iPhone and is never sent to us:
- Your profile: first name (optional), goal, sex, age, height, weight, target weight, activity level, pace and diet preferences.
- Your food diary, with every item you log.
- Your weight history.
- App settings such as your preferred units.
Because this data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes it. We cannot see it, recover it or share it.

Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your card or bank details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not show ads or share data with advertising networks.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not use HealthKit and we do not read your contacts, location or photo library.
Camera
CalDaily asks for camera access to scan barcodes and, for Pro users, to photograph meals. Barcode frames are read live on your device and are not stored. You can turn camera access off at any time in your iPhone settings.
How long we keep data
Cached food data and search results are kept to keep the app fast for everyone and contain no personal information. Usage counters for fair-use limits are kept only as long as needed to apply those limits. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as required for billing and legal purposes.
Your choices
- Delete the app to erase your diary, weight log and profile.
- Use "Reset onboarding" in Settings to clear your profile and start over.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone settings under your Apple ID.
- Email us to ask about subscription data held by RevenueCat, and we will help you with your request.
Children
CalDaily is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how CalDaily handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
